Director of School for Leadership Development

Major Holz has served over thirty-five years as a Salvation Army Officer as corps officer, in the Education Department and Director of Curriculum at Evangeline Booth College, Divisional Headquarters as Candidates and Christian Education Secretary, Divisional Secretary, General Secretary, and on Territorial Headquarters, establishing the Office of Personal and Spiritual Formation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Religion and Psychology from Liberty University and a Master of Science in Christian Psychological Studies and Spiritual Formation from Richmont University. In July 2009 she married Dr. Richard Holz and they continue in ministry together. She is the mother of a son, Brock, who resides with Jesus, and a daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Robert Snelson, along with two beautiful grandchildren. Major Holz has a vision and passion for Leadership Development in the context of personal and corporate spiritual formation.

Pamela Bosworth

Pamela Bosworth

Assistant Director of the School for Leadership Development

Pamela holds a Masters of Organizational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Leadership & Ethics from Nazarene Bible College. She has been with The Salvation Army for more than 18 years, serving as an officer for 8 years, in a Divisional Planned Giving Director role and as the Executive Assistant/Communications Specialist to the Territorial Commander in the Southern Territory. During her time away from the Army, Pamela worked with the American Red Cross as Executive Director for a multi-county region and as a regional coach/trainer for Red Cross managers throughout the south. She also holds teaching certification through Evangelical Teachers Association and is an AchieveGlobal instructor. Pamela is married to Jim, a pastor with the American Baptist denomination. Pamela has a passion for building into the lives of leaders as she strives to live out her own mission statement, “to live each day fully, seizing every opportunity to love and care for others and to prepare for eternity”.

Jonathan holds a Master of Divinity from the Charles Harrison Mason Seminary at the Interdenominational Theological Center. He also holds a Bachelor degree in Music with a minor in Africana Studies from Berklee College of Music. Jonathan is very involved in his local church and a proud member of the Church of God in Christ where he serves in many capacities. Jonathan is passionate about helping the School for Leadership Development meet and exceed its goals, and to help further its influence in and outside the Salvation Army. Jonathan is currently pursuing his Doctorate degree in Strategic Leadership from Regent University and is ecstatic to simultaneously learn and practice strategic leadership principles in his role as Administrative Assistant.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, David received his Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University, Master in Divinity from Union Theological Seminary of New York, and Doctorate in Ministry from the New York Theological Seminary. David serves as the Senior Pastor of the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, an over 100-year old multi-generational congregation. David’s passion is helping to equip and coach leaders towards their God-given purpose.

Rachel has been a part of the Salvation Army for over seven years. As an officers child, she has lived all over the Southern Territory, recently settling in Georgia. She has a completed degree in Business, and is planning to further her education alongside her position at The School for Leadership Development.
